Bah.

I apparently *DO* need to write more...

Oh and the HP-11C is awesome. It just took a lot of time to remember how to use RPN again as my mother taught me how to use that calculator when I was little...

Hello world?

So...Yeah, this is the remains of my GreatestJournal if anything happens to that place. Right now, I'm kind of out there because I've had a headache for the past two days, so...

First night

Well, I managed to get up and down the hill in one piece. I got a electric scooter late last year, so I used it tonight.

Anyway, I got at the college at 4:40 this afternoon, and I immediately went to the library to sign up for an account so I could log on to the system. Anyway, after going through the merry-go-round of computers to get an account, I went to class. I took the one I usually used in that classroom and while it booted, it was so slow and it took it five minutes to boot. The guy to the left of me was from my HTML class, but I didn't realize that until later and after we introduced ourselves.

Anyway, I turned my head and saw a very plump woman dressed in all black with dyed hair (red and black), but she looked a lot like one of my sister's friends. She waved, so I guess she must know me....

Anyway, the teacher introduced himself and began to tell us what the class was all about. I asked a stupid question about virtualization software when he was on the subject and I got told Macs were toys (IMHO, Windows is a toy) and went on and on about Virtual PC (ironically). Of course, if this was a PowerPC Mac, I could've installed VPC and I could've avoided that problem. Of course, he showed us an instance of a beta version of Vista running under VMware, and after someone asked about the requirements and cost, nobody probably wanted to install it.

He kept on going on about what the class was about and when we got to the books, someone pointed out that a different edition of the book was being sold by the bookstore. I showed him my book and the teacher wasn't too amused. Of course, we were asked if Microsoft was a monopoly or not, and I found out that the teacher used Netscape/Firefox despite he was my old high school's sysadmin.

Everyone began registering for their accounts afterwards (otherwise, I didn't have to register earlier), and I found out that Firefox was installed on the computers. I played around with it and found out that it was 1.5 still. Ah well--it's better than IE....And of course, the person from my HTML class and I kept on talking throughout class. I left just a little before seven and got home at around 7:30.

Oct. 2nd, 2006

Well, Barb got a friend's (Rath's) old computer today (a Compaq) and we began to plan on what we wanted to do with the computer (Barb initally wanted to use it for spare parts) but we eventually decided to turn that machine into a Linux box. I asked her if she wanted Kubuntu or SuSE, and all she wanted was Amarok. Okay. That works. I'm never asking her that question again. >_> So, I chose Kubuntu and began to download the ISO on the mini and went to eat lunch.

We didn't begin the actual project until around 7:50 tonight because I decided to wait for the ISO to finish downloading and I transferred it to the Macs' external HD and burnt it on the MacBook. I opened the cases up and I tried to get the spare 60 GB hard disk (I wiped this one already) out from the HP, but in order to do that, Barb and I had to take the panel from off of the case and the plastic part of the case just went with it. I eventually popped out the drive and just put the computer aside. I realized that I was going to have to do the same thing with the Compaq too (HP!), but this time, only the panel came off and not the whole freaking case, but I went ahead anyway and tried to put it in the bottom bay. Of course, the bottom bay was too small for the HD and I wound up taking off the front panel, took out the 40 GB HD (I was told that they couldn't do this) and slid in the 60 GB HD. Barb fell asleep, so I showed her the 40 GB HD. I popped the front panel and slid the side panel back on the Compaq, but left Frankenstein alone. (I didn't curse while working either...>.>)

Barb took the computer out to the family room while I got the installation CD out of the slot drive of the MacBook and we set up the machine. I originally tried to use a nine pin mouse, but the Kubuntu didn't see it. So, I pulled out a black Logitech USB mouse and it worked. However, I didn't put the IDE cable in correctly, so it kind of sat there during the fifth step, so I cancelled the installation, turned off the computer, and tried again about forty minutes later. I opened up the case again and found out that I didn't put the IDE cable in correclty, so I pushed it back in, and restarted the computer. It saw the HD this time, so we installed it and at around 10:50 tonight, we had a Linux machine.

Well, I didn't plug in the Ethernet cable when it was finishing the installation, so I didn't get the apt repositories. Nik just sent me a copy of his sources.list and everything else that I needed when I finally told him what I was up to and I needed his help (again, thank you), and I installed Firefox and Gaim on there. OpenOffice.org was installed on there already, so I didn't have to worry about it. I'll need to update a ton of libraries and Amarok later though. I'll play with it a little more later too.

...How long have I wanted to have a Linux box? Five years? Well, I hope that it was worth the wait.

Headaches/Returned from Phoenix

I wanted to go to the Gameworks at Phoenix too. =\ I was going to update when I was there, but I had some problems...

We left at somehwere around eight in the mornng, ate at Wendy's for lunch, and we arrived at the Residence inn Tempe Thursday afternoon, and after getting settled in, I decided to try to connect up the MacBook up to their Internet connection, but I got a orange ball when I looked at the connections in the Netwrok prefernce pane, so after fighting with it a little, I called up the front desk. The front desk said that they would call me back in two minutes, but I got the call six minutes after they said that they were going to call me back. They sent me to their tech support line, got someone with a heavy Spanish accent, tried my best to understand what he was saying, and he walked me through everything, but he said that it was a problem at the hotel. Of course, everyone decided to eat dinner and left me in the room. I met them down in the lobby, got dinner, and us girls went to the Arizona Mills mall.

The JC Penny outlet store there was a total dud. We went to the Virgin Megastore in the mall and Mom went to the Mikasa store. God, that place was...heaven...I found most bands that i looked for there and I got the second Chobits DVD. Unfortately, we could only get one thing and Barb got a Sonata Arctica album and I got the Chobits DVD. We went home and noted that the Gameworks was there.

Friday....Argh. After we hit Fry's and got the PC game of the year version of Morrowind, a Card Captor Sakura DVD, the second Chobits OST, the Sonic Heroes OST, Xenosga Episode II (I KNOW the final episode is out, but I haven't finished the first and I didn't have the second. kthnxbai.) Barb, Dad, and I wound up staying out in the Micheal's parking lot because mother wanted to go into there because she's in the mood to shop fr wedding stuff (she's excited about a poor girl's engagement it seems--and no, I'm NOT enganged. For crying out loud, I've never wanted to even go out with anyone.). We went to the Chandler Fashion Center (ANOTHER mall), went to the Barnes and Noble there and then to the Apple store. We got a mini-DVI to VGA adapter there and some poker game. We went to some realtor's booth, wandered around while my parents were talking, went back, and we got lunch in the food court. Barb got her food from the Subway, Mom got her drink and I got my food at the McDonald's, and Dad got his from steak place, and we went back to the Barnes and Noble, and left. Barb and I went back to the hotel while my parents looked at houses, watched the Card Captor Sakura DVD, and we went out to dinner to Applebee's, but we had to wat a bit to get in.

We stayed home in the morning on Saturday because looking at houses doesn't appeal to us really. We found someone's old hamburger in the microwave when we went to make popcorn (ew), so we told the front desk. We went out to Wendy's for lunch, went to Best Buy and got the Anime legends collection for Outlaw Star, went back to the Barnes and Noble, then went back to Traader Joes's and got dinner, and went back to the room. We tried to play the third DVD (vol. 2, disc 1) for Outlaw Star, but the MacBook wouldn't read it and it read the other discs.

We stayed in the room on Sunday because Barb wasn't feeling well. Parents took excahnged the DVDs and went to look at MORE houses. Argh. They came back in the afternoon, and the new set's DVD wouldn't play on the MacBook either.

We left this morning and came home at three thirty in the afternoon after going to Riverside's Trader Joe's and I was carsick for most of the ride (I didn't get sick, thank God). I checked my mail and gound out that one of Barb's old friends, Kyle, messaged me on the fifteenth. (I'm sorry!) The DVD worked on the mini and my DVD player, so I assume it's a bug with the SuperDrive. I hope anyway...

21!

Today's my twenty-first birthday!

...I'm 21? But, I don't feel much different now...

I can also drink now, but I think that I'll still drink my milk and soda just to spite people for a bit. Well, we're also going out to eat tonight, but I don't really want to...I want to stay at home tonight. However, I can understand why she wants to take me out to eat. My grandparents aren't in town right now, so maybe she's holding off my birthday dinner? It's also been the first time they weren't home for my birthday too....

I did find an old birthday tape for me when I was digging around in the front room. I hope that it's still there and maybe I'll find my tape player and play it.

Another layout change....

And yes, I'll probably make the other journals look like this one. Well, starting with DeadJournal because I still have it up....

This is what happens when I'm wide awake at two in the morning. XP

Apr. 12th, 2006

Finally...I got a chance to play around with the layout some more. Yeah, it's simple.

Apr. 11th, 2006

Anyway, I got Rosenrot on the Sunday before last. This edition seems to be for one of the Latin American countries though. It's also not as strong as Mutter or Sehnsucht is in my book, but I guess it did turn softer...

The fridge broke down in the middle of last week, but it works now. It's still pretty empty though.

The yard sale on Friday was boring and I used my mother's laptop to post an entry in one of the local blogs. I got $10 for it, but I used it up on Saturday to help pay for pizza at the Game Day. We enjoyed watching the Flash that Nik sent me.

We were supposed to work in our backyard on Sunday, but since the trash was full, we sat around and played Tetris. There is no other game more addicting in the world (okay, Golden Sun) other than Tetris!

Mar. 26th, 2006

We went over to the Idiot's house on Friday and we arrived there about 2-ish in the afternoon. Raven and his girlfriend were already there, so we watched the Sonic OAV and they played Magic. We watched Raven play Sonic CD on Sonic Gems Collection afterwards and then a bunch of people flooded the house. I wound up kicking someone's butt on Sonic the Fighters until he found out about Espio (>.<) and he excelled at using him. Raven's girlfriend went out for a drive in the meantime and came back, so the Idiot asked her to get us some Dr. Pepper. We left about 5:30--after most of them left and they kicked my butt on SSBM.

The new monitor came while we were gone. We installed it that night and put the Philips back at Dad's computer. I still need to take the old HP monitor so I can install DOS on the Pentium I.
---
Yesterday, our mother decided to rip apart the front bathroom, and what great fun that was. We couldn't use the bathroom for most of the day after she complained about us not being dressed. Hey...It's the weekend! And besides, I couldn't get a bath because she decided to rip up the bathroom apart. We went out to the trailer that Raven was housesitting for and just watched various Flash cartoons, watched the Idiot and James play Magic and not really play any games because our parents picked us up before Rath came over. Rath was still asleep when Raven first called him though.
---
We worked in our backyard today with Raven, Rath, and the Idiot. The Idiot actually came before everyone else for once, then James came about an hour later and Rath came shortly afer James did. The Idiot and Barb trimmed most of the Arizona rosebush and the Idiot began doing some general cleanup. We found a few new trees growing in the backyard, so we tried to kill them. I watered the apricot tree since I saw blossoms on it, tried to weed the yard, rake the leaves up from my Ash tree, and I also noticed a red plastic cup managed to get in the overgrowth in the right side of the backyard near our bedrooms. I pointed this out to Barb and then she pointed this out to everyone else. We joked about it because we thought there might be something living in there. The Idiot thought that he should get a machete, but he probably will bring it next week. Rath pointed out that he probably found the only jungle in Ridgecrest and we got something to drink a little later.

We talked about going out to eat for dinner, so decided that we should go to the Blimpie's near here, and when four o' clock came, we left and went out to eat. However, we didn't know that it closed at four, so we left and went to Carl's Jr. and got something to eat. We told camp stories and discussed on what to spend our money on because we decided not to go to PAX this year, ate our meals, and went over to Taste-Freeze/Weinersnitchzel and got some ice cream and discussed who would get the Xbox 360 after Rath leaves and its cost. We're still not sure who's going to get it though. I was hyper because of how much sugar I had, and was exteremely talkative while walking home with Barb.

By the way, the title comes from how much soda and sugar altogether I had today. I'm glad I didn't really eat a light desert after lunch....I had three and a half glasses of soda and an ice cream cone. Needless to say, I was hyper. Very hyper for me actually.

Mar. 20th, 2006

Barb and I went out with her group on Saturday and we went to the Blimpies and to the bowling alley. I'm not a big fan of subs (the only one I'll eat is one from Subway that's a ham and cheese melt with nothing on it and I had two of those this week), so I just got a bag of Sun Chips and a medium soda. Rath and Raven mainly talked about a racing game throughout lunch and we managed to get $6.66 in change.

After that, we went bowling and we got the special--$7.50 per person for three games, shoes, and a drink. Barb and I actually did moderatelywell consdiring that we still needed to be taught how to bowl. Our scores were in the twenties and thirties though and I managed to get two strikes in a row in the first game, but I would only get one spare afterwards andI did knock over a few other pins a few more times.

We went to the park afterwards and Raven gave me a plum blossom after I asked what it was, put it it my hair, and I asked Barb if it looked pretty in my hair and it took her awhile to notice it. I put the blossom in my purse just shortly before we got the park and when we got there, we began talking about PAX and how to raise money for it. We talked about various ways on how to and Raven's girlfriend eventually picked everyone up but me because I decided to walk home. Barb did come home before I did but she left with them and came back.
---
Yesterday, we went to the Idiot's house and watched him play Kingdom Hearts on our PS2. Raven came and I noticed that the Full Metal Alchemist book (yes, it's a book not a graphic novel) that I hadn't got around to reading yet being borrowed by him (I know that you paid for it Barb, but still...) and I was tempted to just take it with me because of that. He's also borrowing our PS2 right now and I'm not really happy with that either. I want it here. That model's no longer made and the PSOne's trying to die. But, Raevn and Barb also played a few Flash videos in the meantime, so that's how it didn't really get all that boring.

...I still want my PS2 home...
---
I also had a bit of a dizzy spell this morning. I wasn't really sick because I felt fine otherwise and I could eat, but I was told to lie down. I also had a headache later on too, but as I said, I don't seem to be sick.

Feb. 5th, 2006

Bleeeeech.

The Idiot seems to have developed a habit to forcibly kiss Barb. And of course, he grabbed us both and pulled us near him around the neck (and one of us in each of his arms) but didn't choke us and forecibly kissed Barb on the face and me on the crown because I managed to squirm out of his arm. He said that Barb's puns were driving him insane, but still...

Jan. 26th, 2006

On the 14th, Barb and I went over to Rath’s house because it was a Game Day. I took five of the eight dollars I had from the money that was left over that my mother gave me the week before to order pizza while my parents were gone on the sixth to order more pizza. I forgot to bring Mario Kart DS along and wound up playing Nintendogs for most of it (I didn’t want to play Super Smash Bros. Melee or Mario Kart Double Dash–and that’s all they really played) and then we went out sparring after lunch and Baby Park drove Rath and I crazy.

We spar with weapons that are made of foam, PVC pipe, and duct tape so they are pretty safe. I didn’t do too bad for a newbie last summer, but I didn’t do as well this time around. I think it’s becuase the wind kept on blowing my hair in my face, but whatever. I got jabbed in the stomach and chest too, so that probably didn’t help things either. The sword and hammer (which I handled both well the last time) were a little unwieldy too…Hm. Anyway, we tried to find one of the kittens that Raven was supposed to take home, but we couldn’t find him. Raven did take him home eventually from what I’ve read.

I didn’t go to last week’s Game Day because my parents went out of town again and I accidentally stayed up half the night. Plus, they did bring stuff home from the trip and I got to order pizza–again. Hey! I’m not complaining! I like pizza! Barb did bring Mario Kart DS this time around though.

We might go to the Penny Arcade Expo in August. We’re already planning for it and have some registration money saved up from when we pulled tumbleweeds at Rath’s house last Sunday. One thing that I learned: Tumbleweed stickers aren’t pleasant. I thought one was annoying, but geez…I had them all over my gloves and coat sleeves. I also managed to get them on my right sock and left knee at the same time. Barb managed to get them on her rear from falling over and Raven managed to get some all over his head and neck though because he had to tackle one of the biggest bushes in the backyard. At least he’s good at pulling out trees and Barb and I had to work to get them out (she dug them up and I pulled them out). I was good at pulling out a whole tumbleweed though (just avoid the stickers as much as possible, find the root, and then pull it out). Rath chopped down a tree with a dull axe and the tree had formed two big branches from the trunk, so he had to chop it down twice. Other than that, he just pushed the plants into a trash can. We’ll burn them eventually. We’ll be back on Sunday, so we’re going to work some more. $72 for the four of us though…

Jan. 15th, 2006

I don't think I update this journal enough. I just grabbed a few important entries from my DeadJournal and reposted them here. (Well, my LiveJournal recieves the same treatment, actually.)

Hi Raven!

Jan. 7th, 2006

Last week's trip to Mono Lake was well....Muddy, rainy, and windy. We left at about 8:30, turned around and got the camera and battereis, and left about 9:00. We arrived at Lee Vining at about 12:30, and promptly met the wind. I had to grab on to Dad's arm because I was afraid that I was going to get blown away because the wind was so strong. Barb walked along the side of the path that wasn't muddy and I accidentally did (and I got mud all over the shoes I got before Christmas--good work). So, Dad took a picture of us and we promptly went back to the rental car after noticing the water spout above the lake, and Dad did clean my shoes off although I got mud everywhere in sight.

We ate a resturant and all of us ordered the special--fish and chips. They were a little greasy, but they were as good as Moms. Although, I do question their use of crinkle cut instead of steak fries, but whatever. Dad also ate all of our coleslaw (!), but I don't like coleslaw anyway. We headed straight back home after we left and arrived at about five o'clock because Dad decided to take the scenic route at one point.
---
We went over to my grandparents' place for dinner on New Year's Day since we skipped Christmas. At least it ended better than Thanksgiving but we wereg given $20 and a Barbie ornament and the parents got a ton more stuff. We put the money to good use anyway. We orderd a copy of Final Fantasy Anthology (to my dismay, it's out of print) because we found out that the FFVI disc is useless and Video 586's single because it was there and we could get it. Yay. ^.^

Dec. 11th, 2005

Rath finally convinced us to ask for a DS. Well, we got the Mario Kart bundle and we got Nintendogs too. We also bought the new Korn album as Barb mentioned. It's interesting, but not bad. I wonder how much of my iPod has become devoted to them. XP However, someone edited out a part of "Politics" on SongMeanings. O_o

Anyway, I'm trying to get the DS to work with the AirPort....Anyway, it needs WEP for security instead of WPA. Okay. That I might understand, but it's not its fault. The problem is Windows. The laptop REFUSES to see a closed network now. If it was a Mac, I wouldn't have to deal with some stupid WIndows machine. *somewhat nasal and melodic*Oh no, the new laptop needs a 40- or 104-(104? WTF?)bit key unlike the Mac (which can take a 128-bit key). And it goes, "omg!!!1!1! limited signal!!!!1!1!111" if the network is open under WEP. It doesn't do this with WPA though. WPA's the angel. WPA can do nothing wrong! Oh no!

*normal voice*Windows is moronic. If this was a Mac, this wouldn't be an issue. Seriously.

But, I like the DS so far. Nintendogs is a little bit difficult to master, but Barb's right. This would've been the ideal device to have Hey You, Pikachu! on.

Anyway, Rath, Raven, and the Idiot came over yesterday. Since I was sick Friday and yesterday, I wasn't feeling too well, but I was allowed to remain in bed if I wanted to. We managed to untangle the first GameCube remote from the mess and I got dressed and joined them an hour late. The Idiot came a half hour later.

We played Mario Kart and the Idiot insulted my driving skills on Mario Kart with the women drivers line...

It was fun though asnd we created new games on his copy of Animal Crossing Wild World....So far, it's different from the original for the most part.

Anyway, we played SSBM for the rest afternoon and they came home about five. We took some screenshots of SSBM (http://pashpaw.digibase.ca/images/gameday-121005/). It was fun though. Seriously.

But, today Mom bribed us with the DS if we didn't go the music store. We accepted the bribe obviously. XP

Nov. 29th, 2005

Last Week

On Monday, my sister and I went to a friend’s house and played video games. It really was only Mario Kart DS, Mario Kart Double Dash!, and Pokémon XD though. We had some pizza, and level 64 Kyogres are pretty powerful. I don’t have a DS myself because I’m quite happy with the Game Boys. We left at 4:15, but everyone else left a little earlier. We forgot the pink Game Boy Advance though.

Thanksgiving was pretty interesting though. Barb and Mom were sick, but my grandparents came over anyway. For dinner we had a ham, sweet potato cassarole, scalloped potatoes, and dinner rolls. I was supposed to make a cake, but the day I was supposed to, I wasn’t in the mood to do so. Although, I will not deny that the gathering did end bitter. Actually, the whole night was.

Barb, Dad, and I were supposed to go to Death Valley last Friday, but we didn’t because Barb was still sick. Yay. So, I got stuck talking about old Macs and Apple IIs and dead iPods. Hey, it was somewhat entertaing–for me anyway. I want a LC now because I’ve got an Apple IIe card that’s gathering dust….
---
(Note: I guess this is it in a nutshell. There are some things that happened last week that I won't post in public, so this might need a seperate, private journal entry. This also originally appeared in the WordPress blog first.)
---
Edit (12/1/05, 10:05 A.M.)-I also forgot to mention that we set up the Christmas tree on Firday. Dad set up and helped me decorate it when it was mostly finished. I mostly decorated it though.

The Day's Events

So, I decided to go with them after all....

Well, I arose at 6 this morning....The first thing that I heard that was decent on the radio was "The Hand That Feeds", and I didn't get out until 6:30. I had a cinnamon roll for breakfast and then we left at about 7:02.

I fell asleep in the car when we were just at one of the signs telling us how far from home were were and didn't wake up for about another two hours. I was still tired.

When we got there, the ones who need to visit the doctors; visited them. Barb and I made fun of each other like usual, and then we went out to lunch.

We ate at Red Robin at about 12:30, and then we went out to the shopping center. Barb and I both got Nightwish's "Once" and The Downward Spiral Deluxe Edition....I actually panicked because Dad was buying it, but he didn't raise a single complaint. (We gave him our money later, but still...) I actually was panicking so much that I was wonder if I was going to be killed by another parent. (Actually, I was probably wanting to be killed...I was panicking THAT bad....)

But, it didn't turn out all that bad. She doesn't know, so we're safe. Of course, there was the first FMA graphic novel at Barnes & Noble, but we agreed that we could get it at Just Imagine. I wound up carrying Mom's stuff for a moment (my goodness, that was heavy), and then we went to Costco. Dad got the newest version of Streets & Trips, but he thought that it would run on our Palms (oh no...It's MS. It would run only on PocketPCs), but he probably wanted an upgrade anyway. And we got a bunch of other and normal stuff, but...

We saw some people from Ridgecrest! We didn't know them, but we said that we were from there and we saw them again later at the store. We went home and I later listened to The Downward Spiral....

I liked it. I liked it a lot better than With Teeth (which I had acquired through iTunes). I still need to listen to the rest of Once, but it's just so different from Wishmaster....

Jun. 7th, 2005

Lancaster

Well, the trip to Lancaster was short but sweet...

Barb and I got the first volume of Tsubasa and a box with two Danger Mouse DVD's. We also didn't eat lunch until 3. We also came home with just under eight pounds of white chocolate (most of it was six10 oz. bag of chips because Mom went hyper over them while we were at Trader Joe's. Whoo boy).

I also may have changed my plans. I may not do my original plan, but become a baker instead. We'll see how this pans out.

Mar. 23rd, 2005

I decided to go to school from 9 to 5 today because I had some work that needed to be done, and after I visited my learning assistant with my greeting ("Little Miss Teenager's here!" Of course, she broke out laughing, and we changed the topic of my essay.), I spent most of my day in the computer lab. I typed until I was really hungry (lunch), or it felt like my skin was going to fall of my bones (break) and I was bored stiff. I did find out that a LUEser probably did vandalize the Life, the Universe, and Everything page on Wikipedia at school today (I was trying to find the Belgium quote). It looks like this:

DHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now, isn't that a prime example of intelligence? C'mon!

Anyway, I visited my friends during the bored-stiff break, and I went home after thinking about how much I wanted to go home and was screaming thoughts in my head.

There was a IM conversation that included Strong Bad's lack of intelligence (I saw my first Strong Bad E-mail comic yesterday and got a repeat today), the disgust of Firefox's lack of compliance and backwards compatibilty with some properties removed from CSS 2.1 (don't look at me like that--it does break a few rules) and its elitists, and other comments. I can get into interesting conversations with this person and I still don't need to say much...

Mar. 21st, 2005

Friday was the usual. Sick sister at home, keyboard came, and I just played Paper Mario 2.

Saturday was a big day. I wore my old pair of jeans until my navy knit jeans were washed at the last minute, and I transformed from the last rose of summer into something a little bit more decent. We went out, my cousins hogged my Game Boys, ate dinner, helped clean up, and came home. I got $50 from my aunt and uncle from Puerto Rico, and a little bag to carry it in. We're debating what to buy...

Sunday, all I did was clean my room. It still needs to be cleaned. =P

Today was an interesting day. I woke up at 8:08 in the morning (I overslept) and I managed to get dressed in 11 minutes. I put in a piece of toast about 8:24 and the bus came! I flew out the door and said that they can do whatever they want with the piece of toast. (If you must know, it's still in the toaster oven.) I arrived at school, and didn't really do anything except for complaining about my seat being usurped again. At 12:05, the boy, the gossipy woman, and I went out to the track and walked a few laps., but I think that I did something to my right ankle because it's burning slightly...But, it will heal. Then, we went out to the desert and explored it for a bit. We saw an interesting pile of rocks, contemplated about going camping in the summer, and thought about bringing a picnic lunch there one of these days. We came back tired and sweaty, so we sat down and drank soda. The boy had to go and hugged me and the poor girl whose ex didn't treat her right....
